Botanic Garden

Location: Mt Barker , WA .

Size: 12m x 10m

A few days ago, I finished a very special mural in a place that is more than just a garden — it’s a dream in the making. Phil and Sharon opened the doors of their home and their botanical garden to me, a unique space they’ve been creating with love and dedication for the past 15 years.

It all began when Phil decided to give new life to an old abandoned school in Mount Barker, Western Australia. What was once an empty classroom is now a botanical garden that keeps growing, filled with hundreds of plant species from all over the world.

Each plant family in this garden has its own mural, and I had the honor of painting one for the tropical garden area. That’s why I chose to create a vibrant landscape, full of colorful flowers surrounding a waterfall — a symbol of that exotic, wild, and lively universe.

It was an honor to be part of this beautiful project, which is not only a gift to those who visit the garden but also a tribute to the perseverance of Phil and Sharon, who have been caring for this space with their own hands for so many years.

Thank you for trusting my art and for reminding me, once again, that dreams grow like plants — with patience, dedication, and lots of love.
